KINERIXATHLETICS

Private pilot cohorts forming now

The right training for the athlete in front of you.

No rankings. No streaks. No comparison.

Kinerix turns sport, position, age, goals, schedule and readiness into a clear, prioritized training plan — so athletes know what to do, and everyone supporting them stays aligned.

Free private pilot · iPhone and Android · no payment details · parent-managed access for athletes under 18

Private pilot cohorts for athletes and families, coaches and teams, trainers, and organizations. A parent or guardian must apply for any athlete under 18.

No streaks to protect, so nobody trains through a hold to keep one alive.

The problem

Athletes train in more than one place. Their plan rarely sees the whole week.

Team practice, private instruction, individual development, competition and recovery usually operate separately, on separate schedules, with no shared view between them. The athlete is left to reconcile it — usually the person with the least context to do it.

Parents want to support the work but rarely see the reasoning behind it. Coaches and trainers each see a real, honest part of the picture, and almost never the whole of it. Nobody in that chain is doing anything wrong. The fragmentation is the problem.

How Kinerix works

Three questions, answered every day

The whole product is organized around the questions an athlete actually asks — and the answers a parent, coach or trainer can see alongside them.

“Am I safe?”

Kinerix uses non-clinical readiness and wellness check-ins to recommend a full, adjusted, or recovery-focused session — and explains the reason in plain language. It does not diagnose injury and does not determine medical fitness to participate.

“Am I improving?”

Movement assessments tracked over time, against the athlete's own history.

“What do I do today?”

A specific session for today, built from where the athlete actually is.

01Tell Kinerix about the athlete
02Receive a prioritized plan
03Train, record, and adapt

Readiness supports training decisions. It does not diagnose injury, declare an athlete safe, or replace the judgment of the adults around them.

Who it's for

Everyone around the athlete sees the same plan

Each role sees what it needs to act — and nothing it does not. Pilot cohorts are being selected for all five.

What it measures

Four qualities across four directions. Sixteen segments of movement.

Sport is not performed in one quality or one direction — it is performed in combinations of them. Kinerix assesses and plans across all sixteen, so a sport, a position and an athlete each have a distinct shape rather than a single score.

What this looks like on a Tuesday

An infielder tests well moving forward and poorly stopping sideways. On a generic program that gap never closes, because most drills run forward. Kinerix reads it as low Control in the Lateral direction — and because Control gates Quickness, the next sessions build deceleration and landing before they add lateral speed work. Same athlete, same week, different Tuesday. Illustrative example.

Progress is your own

Every segment is tracked against this athlete's own history. Kinerix does not rank athletes against each other, and it never shows one athlete where they sit relative to another.

How the scoring works — attribution, the three levels, and the two rings
Sport and position have a shape

The segments that matter most differ by sport and by position — which is what makes a plan individualized rather than generic. An athlete can be strong going forward and still have work to do moving sideways.

Eight terms are the complete vocabulary. Every assessment, plan and progress view on the platform uses them — so an athlete, a parent, a coach and a trainer are all reading the same thing.

01

Measure movement, not effort

A standard assessment battery, chosen for the athlete's sport, age and stage. The same tests every time, so results compare to that athlete's own history.

02

Attribute it precisely

Every result maps to exactly one quality-and-direction pairing, plus at most two supporting ones. A lateral bound tells the system about lateral qualities — nothing is smeared into a vague athleticism number.

03

Score at three levels

Individual metric, quality group, and overall. Every score carries a value, a trend, and how confident the system is in it.

The segments add up to one development score

Shown at the top of this page
Development · the outer ring

What the athlete has built across the segments over time. It moves slowly, and it only moves on the athlete's own history.

Performance · the inner ring

Where the athlete is reading right now. When it runs ahead of development, that is a prompt to assess — not a verdict.

The four bars

The same score opened up by quality, so the next session has somewhere obvious to go. No athlete is compared to another.

An athlete, a parent, a coach and a trainer all read this same view. Figures shown are illustrative.

What you actually do

A session for today, not a program for the month.

Measuring is half of it. The other half is what arrives on the athlete's phone: a specific session, drawn from a library of 900+ exercises, dosed for their age band and filtered by what today's readiness allows.

900+Exercises in the library
400+Need no equipment at all
1 in 3Withheld when readiness says hold
Six age bandsDosed separately, 9 through 22
Progression is earned, not scheduled

An athlete does not move up because weeks passed. The next level opens when the one below it is repeatable — measured in completed sessions, not in calendar time.

The same exercise, dosed differently

Sets and reps are written per age band, so a 10-year-old and a 17-year-old doing the same movement are not doing the same work. Nothing is scaled by guesswork from an adult program.

01Side PlankOpen from age 9
02Rolling PlankOpens after 3 clean sessions
03Plank Bird DogOpens after 5

One real progression family from the library, unedited. Around a quarter of the library opens this way; most of the rest is gated by age. Every exercise in the library carries a coaching cue.

Confidence

Every score tells you how sure it is.

Most apps show a number and let you assume it is solid. Kinerix shows how much it actually knows. Early on it says so plainly. As data accumulates, confidence rises and the system commits to stronger statements. When data is missing or disagrees with itself, it narrows what it will claim rather than guessing.

Confidence moves through four stages: Building your baseline — first sessions, guidance stays general. Early guidance — enough history for specific recommendations. Established history — the system commits to stronger statements. Assessment recommended — readings have drifted; time to re-measure.

63Strong · steady

Development · overall

Established history82% · high

With this much history behind it, the app commits to specific recommendations and says what it is basing them on.

Building your baseline
First sessions24% · low

And when it does not know enough yet, it says so rather than guessing: “Building your baseline. First insights coming after three sessions.”

Build order

We build the slow-down before the speed-up.

Control gates Quickness. An athlete is not pushed toward explosive work until they can slow down and land under control. For young athletes the order is explicit, and speed is the last thing we chase rather than the first.

01Control02Coordination03Strength04Quickness
When the answer is “not today”

A hold holds — including when you're not there.

When a readiness check-in says hold back, the plan changes before anyone sees it, and it arrives with the reason and what to do instead. Never a blank screen.

It is not a setting anyone toggles off, and that is the point: it holds at 6am on a tournament Saturday when nobody is watching, and it gives the adult in the room something to stand behind when a hold is unpopular.

A hold prevents Kinerix from assigning its normal planned session. It does not make a medical decision, and it does not determine eligibility to practice or compete — those remain with the adults responsible for the athlete. Readiness supports these decisions. It does not diagnose an injury or declare an athlete safe.

Adult athletes

Adults train on a different clock.

Youth development is about building structure that isn't there yet. Adult training is about keeping what you have — capacity, control, and the ability to keep playing. Kinerix runs a separate model for adult athletes, calibrated by age band through 70+, with the same daily question: what should I do today, given where I actually am.

Age bands

9 through 70+

Twelve age bands, from 9–10 through 70+. The pilot request asks for an age band only — not a date of birth, and nothing about health. Date of birth is collected later, in the app, where it is used strictly for age-gating so an athlete moves between bands correctly as they grow.

The parts a parent should read first

These are the commitments that shape the product. The binding text lives in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

Verifiable parental consent under 13

“If you are under the age of 13, you may only use the Service if your parent or legal guardian provides verifiable parental consent through our authorized third-party verification portal.”

A supervised platform

“Kinerix is designed as a supervised youth athletic-development platform.”

No open messaging with minors

Messages to and from athletes under 18 come from a fixed, reviewed set. Minors do not send or receive free-form text, and there is no photo or file sharing with minors.

Progress is individual

Athletes see their own progress. Never a ranking against other athletes.

Not a medical service

“Kinerix does not collect medical records, diagnoses, medications, treatment information, injury-history records, or clinical-care data, and is not a medical service.”

“You should consult a physician before beginning any new athletic training program.”

Guardian visibility

A guardian can see the athlete's plan, the sessions they complete, the check-ins they submit and every message the app sends them.

Questions

Before you apply

Is Kinerix publicly available?

Not yet. The app is not published on either app store, and there is no web version to sign in to. Access today is by private pilot cohort only.

Who can request pilot access?

Adult athletes; parents and guardians applying on behalf of an athlete; coaches and teams; trainers; and clubs, teams and training organizations.

Can a minor athlete apply?

No. Every athlete under 18 is applied for by a parent or guardian, who stays part of the account. Ask a parent or guardian to request access.

What about cost?

The pilot is free and no payment details are requested. Pricing after the pilot isn't set yet — pilot participants will be told well before anything applies to them, and nothing changes without your say-so.

Is the pilot free?

Yes. Pilot participation carries no cost, and no payment details are requested during the pilot.

How much time does it take?

Onboarding, then normal use during an agreed period, brief periodic check-ins, and one closeout conversation at the end.

Will every applicant be accepted?

No. Cohorts may be selected by role, sport, age group, platform and organization type, so the pilot covers the range of situations the product has to work in.

Which sports are supported?

Eighteen at launch, listed in full in the Sports section above.

Which devices are supported?

Kinerix runs on iPhone and Android. Tell us which you use when you write in.

What information does Kinerix collect?

Identity, fitness and engagement data, described in the Your data section above and set out in full in the Privacy Policy. To apply for the pilot we ask only for an age band, not a date of birth, and nothing about health. If you join, the app does collect date of birth, used strictly for age-gating.

Is Kinerix medical advice?

“Kinerix does not collect medical records, diagnoses, medications, treatment information, injury-history records, or clinical-care data, and is not a medical service.”

“You should consult a physician before beginning any new athletic training program.”

What happens after the pilot?

Findings go into the build, participants hear what changed because of them, and we say clearly what happens to a pilot account at broader release.
